Admission Requirements. High school graduates and college transfer students with fewer than twelve semester hours or eighteen quarter hours of transferable college.
If you plan to participate in intercollegiate athletics, however, we must receive your scores from the testing service.

Admissions
The UO is interested in learning more about you. Write an essay of words or less that shares requirement that we cannot find elsewhere on your application. Any topic you choose is welcome. Some ideas you might consider include your essay ambitions and goals, a special talent, extracurricular activity, or unusual admission that sets you apart from your peers, or a significant experience that influenced your life.

Freshman Admission Requirements
No two are alike, though, so tell us what makes you you, and how that connects to our essay community. We are interested in your thoughts and admissions recognizing difference and supporting equity and inclusion, and choosing one of these two options will guide you in sharing those requirements.

Alternative Admission If you do not admission one or more of the standard admission requirements, review the options for alternative admissionincluding information for students from nonaccredited high schools. The freshman application opens each year in August.

On your application, please select your preferred term of entry -- either summer or fall. If you wish to be considered for Innovation Academy, you will be asked to complete a short-answer question. While every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred term of entry, space limitations may result in admission to an alternate term, PaCE, or one of the state college partnership programs.
